NationsBenefits Appoints Two Healthcare Sales Executives to Develop New Business Opportunities and Create Customized Solutions

NationsBenefits® is pleased to announce and welcome Jake Mead as the new Vice President of Sales, and James Hornung as the new Director of Sales. Collectively, they are responsible for developing strategic sales plans that will create new business opportunities with customized solutions that meet the needs of leading managed care organizations across the U.S.

Mr. Mead joins NationsBenefits with over 20 years of healthcare sales and managed care experience. He is skilled in supplemental benefit administration, value-added benefits, and medical supply distribution for Medicare Advantage, MLTSS, DSNP, commercial payers, and providers. Mr. Mead was most recently Vice President of Managed Care at one of the nation’s largest medical supply manufacturing and distribution companies. He worked with payers and providers to innovate home delivery of medical supplies, OTC products, and durable medical equipment (DME). Mr. Mead is recognized for his progressive efforts in new product launches, market expansion, business development, and value translation.

Mr. Hornung joins NationsBenefits with over 10 years of technology SaaS sales experience. During this time, he consistently drove new and existing business growth while building long-term customer value and exceeding sales quotas. Most recently, Mr. Hornung owned and operated a Medical Supply & Distribution company that disrupted the market by bringing new Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to market, driving market awareness and education, and building a large commercial and retail customer base.
